Special Events Conducted (2024–25)

a) National Librarian’s Day – 12th August 2024

Celebrated in memory of the 132nd Birth Anniversary of Padmashri Dr. S. R. Ranganathan. A book exhibition was inaugurated by Vice-Chairman Dr. Bindu Menon, receiving enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.

b) Vachan Prerana Din – 15th October 2024

Celebrated in honor of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. Top five users and top five readers were felicitated based on KOHA usage and user tracking reports. Awards and certificates were distributed by Dr. Bindu Menon.

c) Late Prof. Dr. A. D. Shinde Memorial Annual Book Exhibition

(Anand Granth Mahotsav) – 3rd to 5th February 2025: Around 20 publishers and booksellers participated. Students, teachers, and parents visited the exhibition in large numbers. Books were procured based on faculty and student recommendations.
