Library Rules & Regulations

General Rules

1.    Maintain silence and discipline inside the library.
2.    Switch mobile phones to silent mode.
3.    Consumption of food and beverages is prohibited.
4.    Bags and personal belongings must be kept at the property counter.
5.    Handle books and equipment carefully.

Membership

1.    Students, faculty, research scholars, and staff of CSIBER.
2.    External members (if permitted by the institute).

Borrowing Rules

1.    UG Students: 2–3 books for 15 days
2.    PG Students: 5 books for 15 days
3.    Faculty: 10–15 books for one semester

Overdue Policy

•    Overdue charges will apply for late returns (after 15 days).
•    Users are responsible for renewal before the due date.

Loss or Damage of Books

•    Lost/damaged books must be replaced with a new copy OR
•    Pay the current market price along with processing charges.
