Royal Alumnus Day 2025 – Celebrating 

Five Decades of Legacy and Lifelong Connections

As part of the CSIBER @ 50 – Golden Jubilee Celebrations (1976–2026), Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research (CSIBER), Kolhapur, organized Royal Alumnus Day (RAD) 2025, a landmark alumni reunion celebrating five decades of excellence, lifelong relationships, and the enduring spirit of the CSIBER community.

The event brought together more than 500 alumni from different batches, departments, professions, and countries, along with faculty members, retired teachers, students, and institutional leaders. The primary objective was to reconnect alumni across generations, strengthen alumni–institution engagement, recognize the contributions of retired faculty, showcase alumni achievements, and encourage alumni participation in mentoring, knowledge sharing, and institutional development.

The programme began with alumni registration, a musical prelude, and the screening of the nostalgic short film "Nostalgia", followed by alumni testimonials. The formal inaugural session included Ganesh Vandana, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, and a welcome address by Dr. R. S. Kamath, Head, Alumni Executive Committee, who paid tribute to the visionary founder, Late Prof. Dr. A. D. Shinde Saheb. Dr. R. K. Tailor, Director, CSIBER, highlighted the vital role of alumni in placements, mentoring, and institutional growth.

The programme was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Ashvini Danigond, Global Entrepreneur, Tech Innovator, and Founder & CEO, Manorama Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur. Distinguished alumni serving as Guests of Honour—Dr. Anil SubbaRao Paila, Mr. Ashutosh Kapse, Dr. Balaji M. S., and Prof. Mallikarjun Shintre—shared inspiring experiences emphasizing leadership, ethics, professional excellence, and the importance of giving back to their alma mater.

A key highlight of the event was the release of "Campus Chronicles: Alumni MagBook 2025," showcasing alumni achievements, memories, and engagement initiatives. The programme also included a heartfelt felicitation of retired faculty members in recognition of their invaluable contributions to CSIBER's academic excellence and institutional development. The celebrations concluded with an engaging alumni interaction and cultural session, where alumni shared memories, performed musical presentations, and reconnected with classmates and mentors.

Royal Alumnus Day 2025 successfully strengthened alumni networking across five decades, enhanced alumni participation in mentoring and institutional initiatives, renewed the emotional bond between alumni, faculty, and students, and reinforced the vision of alumni-led support for scholarships, academic excellence, and the continued growth of CSIBER. The event stood as a memorable milestone in the institution's Golden Jubilee celebrations, reaffirming alumni as lifelong partners in CSIBER's journey of excellence.
