Introduction
As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of CSIBER (1976–2026), the CSIBER organized Royal Alumnus Day (RAD) 2025, a landmark alumni reunion that brought together alumni from five decades, faculty, retired teachers, students, and institutional leadership. The event celebrated CSIBER’s rich legacy, lifelong alumni bonds, and collective commitment toward the institution’s future.
Objectives of the Event
The primary objective of Royal Alumnus Day 2025 was to reconnect alumni across generations, strengthen alumni–institution engagement, recognize the contributions of retired faculty, showcase alumni achievements, and encourage alumni participation in mentoring, knowledge sharing, and institutional development initiatives.
Alumni Participation
RAD 2025 witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 500 alumni registrations, representing diverse batches, departments, professions, and geographical regions across India and abroad. Alumni participation truly reflected the enduring CSIBER spirit and validated the vision of bringing together alumni from five decades on a single platform.
Programme Highlights
The event commenced with Alumni Welcome and Registration followed by a Musical Prelude, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. A specially curated Alumni Short Film titled “Nostalgia” and alumni testimony display were showcased, evoking cherished memories of campus life.
The formal stage programme began with the welcoming of dignitaries, Ganesh Vandana, and the Welcome Address and Programme Brief by Dr. R. S. Kamath, Head, Alumni Executive Committee. The address included a heartfelt tribute to Late Prof. Dr. A. D. Shinde Saheb, the visionary founder of CSIBER, who laid the foundation of the institute in 1976. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp and e-inauguration marked the formal commencement of the celebration, followed by the felicitation of dignitaries. Dr. R. K. Tailor, Director, CSIBER, underscored the significance of alumni trust and active involvement in placements, mentoring, and institutional growth, and encouraged systematic alumni outreach and engagement.
Distinguished Guests
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Ashvini Danigond, Global Entrepreneur, Tech Innovator, and Founder & CEO, Manorama Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur. Her address inspired the audience with insights drawn from her professional journey and leadership experience.
The event was further enriched by the presence and addresses of the Guests of Honour, representing CSIBER’s core departments:

Release of Alumni MagBook
A key highlight of the programme was the release of “Campus Chronicles: Alumni MagBook 2025”, showcasing alumni achievements, memories, and engagement activities undertaken during the academic year.
Retired Faculty Felicitation
A special segment was dedicated to honoring superannuated faculty members, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to CSIBER’s academic growth and institutional culture. The session was marked by gratitude, emotional moments, and standing applause from alumni and students alike.
Alumni Engagement Segment
Post the formal function, the programme transitioned into an engaging Alumni Experience Sharing and Performance Session, where alumni shared memories, performed musical pieces, and relived their student life. This segment strengthened emotional bonds and reinforced alumni–institution connect.
Conclusion
Royal Alumnus Day 2025 successfully fulfilled its objectives by fostering alumni engagement, honoring legacy contributors, and reinforcing CSIBER’s vision of lifelong association. The event stood as a proud testimony to 50 glorious years of CSIBER, reaffirming alumni as vital stakeholders in the institution’s continued journey of excellence.
