As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations, Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research (CSIBER), Kolhapur, successfully organized the Late Professor (Dr.) A. D. Shinde Memorial Lecture 2025. The memorial lecture featured Prof. Dr. S. Mahendra Dev, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM), who delivered a thought-provoking address on India's economic transformation and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Prof. Mahendra Dev presented a comprehensive overview of India's economic journey, emphasizing the three pillars of economic growth, inclusion, and sustainability as the foundation for achieving developed nation status by 2047. He highlighted the importance of Atmanirbhar Bharat, private sector participation, policy reforms, and balanced development across the agriculture, manufacturing, and services sectors to generate employment and ensure inclusive growth.

The lecture also focused on India's commitment to sustainable development, climate resilience, and the national target of achieving Net Zero Emissions by 2070. He stressed that while government policies and international cooperation play a crucial role, individual responsibility and environmentally conscious lifestyles are equally important in building a sustainable future.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from academicians, researchers, faculty members, students, and industry professionals. Through his insightful address, Prof. Mahendra Dev provided valuable perspectives on India's economic progress, public policy, and sustainable development, making the memorial lecture an enriching academic experience for the entire CSIBER community.
