Kolhapur | Golden Jubilee Year
The D. K. Shinde School of Social Work, Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research (CSIBER), Kolhapur, successfully organized the Welcome Programme for the First-Year Master of Social Work (MSW) students (Batch 2026–2028) on 20 July 2026.

The programme commenced with a digital inauguration, followed by a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Tailor, Director, CSIBER. In his address, he encouraged students to uphold the values of compassion, integrity, and professional excellence while dedicating themselves to the service of society.
A significant highlight of the programme was the Social Work Pledge, where the newly admitted students reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of social justice, ethical practice, and community service. The event also included faculty introductions and an orientation session that familiarized students with the institute's academic vision, curriculum, professional expectations, and opportunities for holistic development.

The welcome programme provided an inspiring beginning for students embarking on their journey in social work, reinforcing the institute's commitment to nurturing socially responsible professionals and future leaders dedicated to community welfare.

The D. K. Shinde School of Social Work warmly welcomes the MSW Batch 2026–2028 to the CSIBER family and wishes them a fulfilling academic journey marked by learning, leadership, and meaningful service to society.
