School of Computer Science and Applications Inaugurates Student Induction Programme 2026

The School of Computer Science and Applications, Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research (CSIBER), Kolhapur, successfully inaugurated the Student Induction Programme 2026 for the newly admitted students of M.Sc. (Computer Science), M.Sc. (Cyber Security), and B.Sc. (Computer Science).
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Mrs. Jennifer T. D'Souza as the Chief Guest. The programme was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) R. K. Tailor, Director, CSIBER, in the presence of Dr. R. S. Kamath, Dean, School of Computer Science and Applications.

The programme commenced with the welcome and felicitation of the Chief Guest, followed by the e-inauguration of the induction programme and the symbolic Watering the Plant Initiative, representing growth, learning, and new beginnings. The dignitaries addressed the students, inspiring them to embrace academic excellence, innovation, ethical values, and lifelong learning.

Scheduled from 20 to 24 July 2026, the five-day induction programme is designed to familiarize students with the institute's academic environment, campus facilities, institutional values, academic regulations, career opportunities, student support services, and co-curricular activities. Interactive sessions and team-building activities have also been planned to help students adapt confidently to campus life.

The School of Computer Science and Applications warmly welcomes the new batch of students to the CSIBER family and wishes them a rewarding, enriching, and successful academic journey.
