He has more than two decades of teaching and research experience. He has been teaching courses such as Operations Management, Materials and Inventory Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Research Methodology and his current research areas are Quality Management, Inventory Management and Operations Management. He has carried out 3 Minor Research projects sponsored by UGC Pune. He has guided 52 M.Phil, and 14 Ph.D. students. He has published more than 40 Research Papers in National and International journals and presented more than 20 papers in different National and International conferences. He also authored a Book in the area of Business Management and edited more than ten books. He is a co-author of many books for Shivaji University's distance education MBA program in the areas of Production and Operations Management, Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship, Materials Management, Total Quality Management, Purchasing and Supply Management, Industrial Organisation, Industrial Marketing, Factory Organization and Management, World Class Manufacturing etc. He has also edited a SIM (Self Instruction Manual) material for distance education. He has organised 12 National and State level workshops and One International conference on Demonetization and Remonetization: Issues and Challenges for Global Business during August 2017. Presently, he is a BOS Member of Management Board of Shivaji University and also BOS Member of Production and Quantitative Techniques, Marketing Management and Member of Academic Council, Governing Council at CSIBER an Autonomous Institute. He has worked in different committees of Shivaji University such as the Local Inspection Committee, Research and Recognition Committee, Teacher Selection Committee, Paper setting and Syllabus committee etc. He is a Resource Person to many Educational Institutions and Universities. He is a Life Member of various professional bodies such as Indian Society for Technical Education, New Delhi, Society of Operations Management" Bangalore, Indian Commerce Association,Jaipur etc. He is the former Chancellor Nominee on the Senate of Shivaji University, Kolhapur, and is the former Member Coordinator of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), of CSIBER, Kolhapur.
