Department of Environment Management Organized International Conference on the theme “Sustainable Development: Goals for 21st Century on 10th January, 2020 in CSIBER (Radhabai Shinde Memorial Hall) in Collaboration with Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Mumbai.
The conference was inaugurated by the Shri. E. Ravendiran (IAS), Member Secretary, Maharashtra Pollution Control board (MPCB), Mumbai and Dr. Mallinath Kalshetti Hon’ble Commissioner, Kolhapur Municipal Corporation and other dignitaries present for inaugural function were Dr. Y. B. Sontakke Joint Director, MPCB, Water Division, Mumbai, Shri. Nandkumar Gurav , R.O, (HQ), MPCB, Mumbai, Dr. Rohana P Mahaliyaanarachchi, Ex Vice Chancellor, Sabaragamuwa University, Sri Lanka, Shri Ulhas Paralikar, Global Consultant, Mumbai, Dr. Rajendra Ponde, Vice Principal and Head (UG & PG) Willingdon college, Sangli.
This conference was attended by about 86 participants from various Industries, Organizations & Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) officials. The theme of the conference & technical sessions were highly appreciated by the delegates.
